Fergus McDuck (voiced by Graham McTavish) is a member of Clan McDuck.
He the son of Dingus McDuck; husband of Downy McDuck; father of Scrooge, Hortense, and Matilda McDuck; father-in-law to Quackmore Duck; grandfather of Donald, Della Duck, Webby Vanderquack, May and June; and great-grandfather to Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck.
He and his wife live at Castle McDuck, which - due to magic druid stones - has turned magic and granted them immortality. However, it has also closed off the castle from the rest of the world, except for once every five years, when it becomes accessible from the rest of the world.

Fergus' image is visible in various locations throughout McDuck Manor, usually alongside that of his wife Downy.
The Secret(s) of Castle McDuck![]
Fergus and Downy greet Scrooge, the boys, and Webby when they arrive at Castle McDuck, though Fergus and Scrooge's reunion is cold. Throughout the episode does Scrooge and Fergus gets more and more irritated with each other and Fergus tries to ground Scrooge. Scrooge at first tried to trick Fergus into pretending to want to be here even though he wouldn't. Eventually giving up on the sharade and intend to find the tressue himself. Even so Fergus isn't tricked and follow Scrooge. Both of them keeps getting at each other's nerves until Fergus reveals he was secretly the one who gave Scrooge the number 1 dime. The reason he was so hard on Scrooge was because he missed him. The two made up and decided to find the tressure together the next time they saw each other.

From Webby's board
- On Webby’s board, in "Woo-oo!", there is a note saying "Scotty McDuck → Alternate Timeline????". This is a reference to personal notes made by Carl Barks, naming Scrooge's father, "Old 'Scotty' McDuck".
- Alan Young, the voice of Scrooge from the 1987 version of DuckTales, was originally planned to voice Fergus, but passed away before the recording process initiated.
- He blames Scrooge for everything that goes wrong, even when he's nowhere near what caused it.
